G Pen Roam
When the G Pen Roam needs to be charged, the LED display will show the image of a flashing empty battery, and will not heat if activation is attempted.
If your G Pen Roam has restricted airflow, you can do the following to clean and declog:
Separate the following components:
- Quartz tank
- Tank cover
- Two detachable air path channels:
- Stainless steel central air path channel inside flip-top lid of battery
- Silicone air path channel liner attached to internal backing of battery
- Excluding the silicone air path channel, soak the above parts in ISO for at least one hour, then remove and wipe down all surfaces with cotton swabs.
- Use a cotton swab with ISO to clean off any reclaim in the silicone air path channel liner and battery, then wipe down and dry completely.
- Common areas for clogging can be found in the stainless steel air path inside the flip-top lid of the battery, the air path opening at the bottom of the Quartz tank, and along the silicone air path liner of the battery. To minimize clogging in these areas, be sure to limit your loads to smaller dab sizes, no larger than a couple grains of rice.
- Fully assemble parts and engage device at full activation on MAX temperature level to burn off any residual ISO on remaining parts.
Regular cleaning and maintenance is recommended to avoid clogging and extend the life of your Roam.
If your G Pen Roam is experiencing a connection issue, follow the steps below:
- Remove tank and tank cover from battery.
- Confirm a flush connection between the Quartz tank and tank cover. A small tab on the bottom of the Quartz tank should fit flat into the bottom of the tank cover. The tab should be oriented directly towards the Roam mouthpiece when placing the Quartz tank and tank cover back into the battery. The front panel of the tank cover should also sit flush with the front face of the battery.
- If these conditions are met and you are still experiencing connection issues, please contact G Pen Customer Service.
If your G Pen Roam is not heating, or is displaying a connection error on the LED screen, you can do the following:
- First ensure the Roam is fully charged.
To replace the atomizer in the G Pen Roam, first flip the tank lid upwards to expose the quartz tank underneath. Be sure to allow the tank to cool completely before handling. Next gently pull the quartz tank with silicone cover away from the Roam's base - the tank itself can then slide downward and out of the tank cover. Insert the new Roam atomizer into the silicone tank cover, ensuring the tabs line up to fit flush. Finally, slide the tank and cover back into the appropriate slot on the Roam.

G Pen Gio
If the G Pen Gio battery doesn’t light up when being drawn upon, there may be one of two issues. First, make sure your G Pen Gio battery is fully charged. If the light does not illuminate while drawing, nor while plugged in, please contact customer service to initiate the unit’s warranty. If the G Pen Gio battery is showing to be fully charged, there may be a connection issue between it and the cartridge. Remove the cartridge and ensure nothing is coming between its bottom and the insert on the battery.
The G Pen Gio is breath-activated, so once the unit is charged and has a cartridge inserted, you’ll only need to draw through the unit’s mouthpiece until the desired amount of vapor is consumed.
The G Pen Gio cartridge is aligned correctly with the battery when the embossed G logo and mouthpiece opening are facing the same direction as the front “G” light on the battery. The cartridge should slide down completely into the top of the battery.
Once the G Pen Gio battery is approaching a full charge, the “G” light on the front of the unit will begin flashing. The unit is fully charged once the flashing ends, and the light turns off.
When the G Pen Gio battery needs to be charged, the front “G” light will blink five times when the unit is drawn upon.
The G Pen Gio battery is charged by plugging the included micro USB cord into the bottom of the unit’s battery, as well as an acceptable USB port or AC adapter. The “G” light on the front of the unit will light up, indicating the battery is being charged.
Yes - the G Pen Gio battery and charger are both covered for a year from the date of purchase. Cartridges can be warrantied at the retailer or point of purchase, in line with their own warranty protocol.

Without packing the chamber too tightly, the chamber can fit anywhere between 0.25 - 0.75 grams of dried material.
0.11 cubic inches, or17.35 x 16.28 x 7.56 mm.
We do not recommend it, as any leakage through the airflow holes at the bottom of the chamber can permanently damage the internal components of your device and this will not be covered under warranty.
To get the best and most long-lasting flavor out of your preferred ground material, we recommend setting the temperature around 375°F, or 190°C.
Make sure to fully clean the mouthpiece before removing the filter screen. Use the G Pen Tool included to push against the filter holes of the screen, sliding it out of the small opening at the front of the mouthpiece.
Always use a grinder, or G card, to grind up dried material. For best results, make sure your dried herbs are finely ground. Larger grounds will take longer to vaporize and yield less vapor.
Aluminum-alloy oxygenation panel, ceramic, silicone rubber, stainless steel, and BPA-free food-grade plastic (polybutylene terephthalate).

Make sure the G Pen Pro Vaporizer is OFF before, and while you're loading your preferred dried blends.
To achieve the best results, use the G Card to finely grind your preferred dried blends before loading them into the heating chamber.
Remove the G Pen Pro Mouthpiece by applying pressure to either side of the top while pushing in an upward direction.
Load the chamber in full, be careful not to overpack. Once your preferred dried blends have been loaded into the heating chamber, snap the G Pen Pro Mouthpiece back onto the G Pen Pro Vaporizer. Turn the G Pen Pro Vaporizer on by pressing the power button five times. Select the desired temperature setting by holding the power button, wait for the indicator LEDs to stop flashing to indicate that it's reached the desired temperature and then draw.
For optimal performance of your G Pen Pro Vaporizer, we recommend the following:
- Make sure your material is finely ground and loaded down tightly to the bottom of the tank.
- A larger amount of ground material loaded will generally create a larger volume of vapor than a small amount.
- Regularly clean the G Pen Pro Mouthpiece, as built-up residue can largely hinder the unit's performance.
- Allow the G Pen Pro Vaporizer to cool down before attempting to clean it with the included cleaning brush.
- Allow the G Pen Pro Vaporizer to finish one full heating cycle before producing maximum vapor, especially on lower temperature settings.

When that light turns back to green, the battery is fully charged.
A G Pen Battery flashing 3 times typically indicates a problem in communication between the G Pen Battery and the G Pen Dual Quartz Coil. To fix this, make sure that the connection between the two is clean and secure. If you are still seeing 3 flashes, you can try your battery with other tanks/coils to see if it will solve the problem. If changing tanks/coils stops the flashing, you may need to replace the problem tank/coil. If the battery blinks 3 times with every tank/coil, the issue lies with the G Pen Battery itself. Contact customer service for replacement under our one year warranty.

For basic cleaning, we recommend using our G Cleaning Tips, which come filled with a cleaning solution. If deeper cleaning is required, you can also use your G Tool to remove more solid residue. For the deepest cleaning, you can soak your mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol for about 20-30 minutes, followed by thoroughly rinsing it with hot water. This should loosen and dislodge even the toughest built up residue.
While the microG Vaporizer comes set up to be used with concentrates, there are definitely parts available to adapt it for use with dried material. All you would need to do so would be a microG Ground Material Tank, which screws onto the microG Battery just like the microG Tank included with the set.
Within the actual tank of your microG Tank, the coil works to clean itself by burning off any residue that comes in contact with it. We don’t recommend using any type of liquid cleaning agent in the microG Tank, as doing so could cause it to malfunction. If you need to remove concentrate from the tank, you can do so using your G Tool.
To load your microG Tank, you first need to remove the mouthpiece to reveal the heating coil. Using your G Tool, place your desired concentrate in the tank, on and around the coil. Be careful not to be too forceful with the coil itself, as it is delicate and can be dislodged with too much pressure. Once you’ve loaded your desired concentrates and replaced your mouthpiece, your microG Vaporizer is ready to be used.
If the top of your microG Ground Material Tank becomes clogged, you can soak it in isopropyl alcohol for 20-30 minutes, followed by thoroughly rinsing it with hot water. This should loosen and dislodge and residue built up on this part. For very deep cleaning, you can remove the small screen at the top and use your G Tool to rid the area of heavy residue.
To load your microG Ground Material Tank, you first need to remove the mouthpiece and unscrew the top of the tank to reveal the heating chamber. Grind your material to a desired consistency, and load the desired amount into the tank. Keep in mind that the airflow through the tank greatly depends on the amount and consistency of the ground material loaded. Once you’ve loaded your material, screwed on the top of the tank, and placed your mouthpiece back on, your microG Ground Material Tank is ready to be used.
To charge your microG Battery, first remove any tank that may be attached to it. Once your microG USB Charger is plugged into the G Wall Adapter and battery, the light on the bottom of the battery will turn red, indicating that it is charging. When that light turns back to green, the battery is fully charged.

The best way to ensure optimum performance/longevity with your Grenco Science Product (microG Pen) is to perform simple cleaning procedures on a regular basis. The most important process lies in the removal of any excess concentrate residue from the connection point of the battery. To be more specific, when referencing the connection point, we mean to describe the part of the battery that is exposed once the coil has been removed. Simply take a Q-Tip, soak it in isopropyl rubbing alcohol, and gently wipe away any of the excess concentrate residue that may have collected there over time. With the microG Pen, it is also important to remove any excess concentrate residue from around the base of the titanium cylinder, on the outer part of the coil. If you notice this excess concentrate residue collecting anywhere, simply engage in this process two to three times a week. It will effectively prevent any disestablished connections between the battery and the coil while keeping the mouthpiece sanitary.
Do not soak any of your components (microG Coil, microG Battery, Charger) in any type of cleaning solution or rubbing alcohol. This could compromise the pieces.
Do not clean the inside of the coil, the area where the heating element lies. The heating element will essentially clean the inside of the coil by clearing away any of the excess concentrate residue.
