There's a special treat at the corner of La Brea Avenue and Olympic Boulevard. The Machete legend himself, Danny Trejo, opened his own taco joint Trejo's Tacos.
We cruised down to Miracle Mile with our G Pen Elite to scope out the menu and indulge in their mouthwatering eats. Not one menu item disappointed. From the vegan-friendly black pepper tofu tacos to the pistachio garnished guacamole, every bite was delectable. Be sure to try the bean dip!
Opened in honor of his mother, Trejo's restaurant also has locally brewed beer and fresh ingredients delivered daily. Left over food is donated to a local homeless shelter.
