In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, we visited our favorite local Mexican joint, Escuela Taqueria.

Nestled across the street from The Grove and Pan Pacific Park on Beverly Boulevard, Escuela Taqueria offers the best top shelf tacos in WeHo.

Before indulging, we snacked on some fresh chips and guacamole with our G Pen Elite.

Founded by restaurateur Steven Arroyo four years ago, Escuela Taqueria is his latest venture after closing his previous Mexican restaurant, Cobras & Matadores.

Shoes hang from the ceiling similar to Arroyo's other restaurant Potato Chips, which has hanging chairs.

The Langostino was a squad favorite. If you haven't had a lobster taco yet, it's time.

Their Poblano, roasted poblano chile & local jack cheese made the perfect side fixins for our feast.

One of their signature tacos, the Crispy Beef and Pickle is most regulars' favorite.

Make sure to stop by 7615 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
